Rules of Architecture

The essence of my book Rules of Architecture is as follows

1 Making architecture is defined as the activity which you evaluate some essential elements of architecture on the several design value scales.

2. The essential elements of the architecture based on the current architectural situation according to the historical study are thought to be 物(Things)and 間(Space)

3. As for the design value scales , we could propose firstly 3 axes with the help of philosophers Aristotle and Immanuel Kant. 1)Substance axis 2)format axis 3)Relation axis.

4. These 3 axes are broken down into 9small design value scales
Substans axis
1)Flatness⇔Roghness
2)Colour⇔White
Format axis
3)Transparency⇔Covertness
4)Horisontality/Perpendicularity ⇔Cuvilinearity/Diagonality
5)Bigness⇔Smallness
Relation axis
6)Stratification⇔Planness
7)Integrality⇔Partiality
8)Exclusiveness⇔Inclusiveness
9)IndependencyCooperativity

5. Now architecture is defined as follows
物(Things)and 間(Space) be evaluated on the 9design value scales.
