世界を震撼させている
●五日前、震災の次の日、アルゼンチンの建築家ROBERTOから見舞いのメールが届いた。昨年ワークショップをいっしょにやった親友である。
Hi Taku, we saw the news about the devasting earthquake and Tsunami.
We can see terrible images about that.
I hope you and your familiy are good.
Let me know if we can do anything for you, we are so far away in distance but we feel very close un this moment.

●二日前にUCLAのクラスメートEDMUNDから見舞いのメールが届いた。卒業後もお互いの国で何度も会い。昨年も夫婦で来日して建築を見て回った仲である。

●今日オーストリアの建築家ONDINAから見舞いのメールがきた。7年前OFDAが最初に受け入れた海外からのインターンシップ生である。
Dear taku, dear ofda-team,
I feel so sad about whats happening in your country at this time...
It makes me speechless.
I truly hope and pray that you, your families and your friends are all fine....
I am sure all of the japanese are weighed down with sorrow in this times.
And i truly wish you and all the people in your country not to loose hope.

友人の暖かさ、優しさが嬉しいとともに、今回の災害がどれほど世界を震撼させているかが伝わってくる。
そして昨日ハンス＝ユルグ・ルッフからのメールが武井君経由で届いた。熟慮の末来日を取りやめるというものであった。とても残念な話ではあるが、1か月かけて日本を見ようと考えていた彼にとって交通網の乱れ原発の危険は深刻であろう。おそらく政府の渡航自粛勧告も出されているだろう。それらを考えると仕方ないことである。非公式に流した情報の修正は非公式に行うしかない。ツィッターやブログを見て来日を楽しみにされていた皆さまにはとても申し訳ないけれど、非常事態故のことでありご容赦願いたい。
